SDG

Seshaas got enrolled into SDG which is initiated and supported by the United Nations General Assembly.

(The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) or Global Goals are collection of 17 interlinked global goals designed to be ‘blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all”. The goals are intended to be achieved by the year 2030.)

The students and teachers have started participating assiduously in the discussions and the subsequent activities pertaining to each of the goals. They have come up with innovative ideas and shared their views through videos, posters and pieces of writings to support the goals and the platform is being used by them effectively to get their voice heard in the international arena.

Seshaas joins hands with the global community that strives forward to make sure that a better planet is left for our future generations.

The key to understanding the future in one word: Sustainability

The Sustainable Development Goals are a collection of 17 interlinked global goals designed to be a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. The SDGs were setup in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly and are intended to be achieved by the year 2030 Agenda. Sri Seshaas International Public School became a part of “The Rise–up 4 SDG” in January 2021. Our students actively participated along with schools of different countries of the world.

The climate change is one of the factors that has become a grave concern of the whole world. Goal No – 13, Climate Action is the only solution for the sustainability of the world. The Climate Action Project was launched recently, and about 3000 schools of various countries took part in this project. Our school collaborated with many other schools and students to be a part of the climate action project. From 28 September 2021 to 1 November 2021, we had been doing several activities to instill a need to work for the cause of climate change among students, teachers, parents, and various parts of community

Our children brought into limelight the severe effects of the changes through drawings, poster making, written and oral presentations. They also articulated various solutions for the climate change. Few collaborations our students attended were as follows,

 Among 25,00,000 students, 135 countries towards one Mission, Sri Seshaas International Public School is feeling proud and dignified to be one of the 250 schools who received the “Climate Action Schools of Excellence 2021/22 for the Climate Action Project. It was rewarded during Climate Action Day on 4 November 2021.The award was announced by DAN RUSSELL, voice actor at Cartoon Network. During the same event HRH PRINCE WILLIAM also praised the students for their effort. Congratulations to all who contributed for this event.
