Extracurricular Clubs


NCC strives to be one of the greatest progressive forces of the nation bringing together the youth hailing from different part of the country and shaping them into united, secular, and disciplined citizens of the nation. NCC was started in the year 2014-15 with 50 cadets. We have NCC wing for both boys and girls. The NCC cadets actively involve themselves in Swachh Bharath, yoga day, tree planting, Independence Day, Republic Day and sports day. They also perform activities like tent pitching, gun shooting, trucking, and other social services. They attend training camps to get eligible for ‘A’ certificate examination.  We conduct training camp for NCC cadets CATC cum TSC at Seshaas which is organized by Tamil Nadu 12 battalion of NCC. Participants from various schools and colleges take part in the selection camp.


Bharath scouts and guides is a voluntary nonpolitical educational movement for young people. Scouting is a movement that aims to support young people in their physical, mental, and spiritual development that they may play a beneficial role in the society with a strong focus on outdoor and survival skills. Scouts and guides were started in the year 2011. Our cadets actively attend the training camps being conducted in Seshanchavadi. Every year our students bring the Rajya Puraskar award on the Republic Day. Our scouts and Guides took part in National Jamboree of Bharat Scouts and Guides held at Pali, Rajasthan. Seshaas never fails to accomplish the service towards the society.


The Interact is Rotary International’s service club for young people ages 12 to 18. We started the Interact Club in the year 2012. The parent Club of Seshaas Interact club is The Rotary Club of Salem West.  The students participate in activities like tree planting, shramdaan, volunteering, social service etc., The motive of the club is to create societal awareness among the students and remind them about their responsibility towards the society they live.


Through literature, language’s true essence can be felt. The primary objective of our literary club is to nurture the literary skills of our students by kindling the creative capabilities of our students. weekly activities like elocution, role play, extempore, Just A Minute talk, talk show, debate, article writing, slogan writing, interviews, book review , movie review, fiction table etc., conducted by the club develops an interest in the literary world and help them  acquire the skills needed to effectively communicate.

As the saying goes, Nature Club enhances the connectivity with mother Earth and encourages the young generation to appreciate the nature and safeguard our environment. Our Eco-warriors relish their love towards nature through club activites like gardening, trekking, green walk, farming, Creating awareness to protect Nature, Poster Making, Road Rallies, Creating food and water points for birds etc.,


Cooking is a journey of discovery, a way to explore new flavors and cuisines.”Cookery Club ignites the passion of our budding culinary experts. Taste buds are triggered in our club every week by indulging the heart and mind in making delicious recipies. The club activities involve different themes like salad time, flameless cooking, regional specials, smoothies and shakes, table manners session, cutlery etiquettes etc.,


Music is life. Thats why our hearts have beats. Music club is the hub of Our soulful musicians and singers. Our club hosts many skills like   Crooning of tunes, Classical Music, Folk Music, Western Music, Mastering the instruments, Solo performances, Orchestra Performances, Melody magics etc.,


There are few shortcuts to happiness and dancing is one of them. Our Dance club hosts the young dancers who set the dance floor on fire with their never ending love for dance. Our dazzling performers rock the stage with their energetic show during various events inside and outside the school. Our Dance club students are trained in different dance forms like Classical, Western, Folk, International dance forms like Salsa, Ballet, Tap Dance etc.,


Art makes our life colourful. Our Vibrant Art club has many art enthusiasts who excel in variety of art forms. They showcase their talent in many fields like Drawing, Painting, Jewellery Making, Craft works, Wealth from Waste, Doll Making, Bouquets, Needle Work, Exquisite Traditional works, Murals, Face Painting etc.,


Techy Club provides activities and projects for students to explore the wide world of technology. It is a common platform for technical activities where young geniuses gather together with innovative ideas and out of box thinking skills. Various activities like coding, app development, computer programming languages etc., are conducted. These Techy genius are trained to participate and bloom  in various technical expos.


Entrepreneur club grooms the entrepreneurial skills of the budding business minds. It is a hub where many like- minded people gather to learn the basic business skills. They are exposed to real life inspirational scenarios, Innovative strategies , Action plans etc. They take part in many programmes like School Enterprise Challenge, Trash to Wealth etc to hone their business skills.


Quizzing is an art and test of the intellect. The club has  various exciting activities to create interest among the IQ wizards. Quizzing skills are sharpened through variety of activities like Know your country, Olympiads, Spell bee, Sudoku, Train your brain, Puzzles, game shows, Math wizards etc. 


SESHAAS MUN is one of a kind club which unveils the debating skills of the students. Students are trained to take part in IIMUN ( India’s International Movement for Uniting Nations) and other related events which deal with Model United Nations. The club focuses on the interactive skills, Decorum, Deep research on Current affairs, Etiquette, Competitive spirit and Confidence among the students. The Club members have won many accolades for the school by bagging the trophy  in many events.
